Building accessible tech with Raspberry Pi

If you’ve watched my streams, you’ve likely heard me mention the pocket computer Raspberry Pi. I’ve been super fascinated by the expandability of the ecosystem and buildability of the devices. You can attach all sorts of sensors, build apps for it, learn to code, learn to use Linux, and so on.

It will allow me to build some prototypes of tech ideas that I’ve been thinking about. If I can build these prototypes, I can either make the blueprints open source or turn them into accessible, low-cost products. If you’d like to assist me in my goals check out my Amazon Raspberry Pi wish list

I love hands-on projects, but soldering has always been a problem. With the Pi I can put together blueprints with the bread board, sensors without needing to try and solder.

Some of the projects I’m interested in building include a suite of lab sensors for gathering scientific data, cool Oreo monitoring tools, navigation aids, network security tools, accessible games, and more.

Thank you for reading this, and if you help me gather the devices, sensors and components thank you so much. Be kind to yourselves and others, go learn some cool shit, and make the world a better place. Stay safe, be creative, and we appreciate you.
